Occupation: Arts Education
Coordinator Marital Status: Single What I've been up to since high school: I attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA and graduated in 1991 with a BA in Natural Science (having spent all of my spare time in the theater doing costumes, sets, props, stage managing, and such). After college, served in the Peace Corps in Guatemala for two years. Was back in Denver for a year then moved to CA in 1995 to get my teaching credential and masters degree. I've lived in Pasadena, CA ever since. Taught elementary school in Los Angeles and Pasadena for 6 years. Finally finished my Masters in Human Development in 2004. Currently am program coordinator for an arts education nonprofit that sends professional artist to do teaching residencies in schools throughout LA County. However, I'm contemplating quiting my job and dedicating myself to organic gardening, caring for my elderly neighbors, and getting more involved again in my neighborhood (and growing money on trees I guess...) I helped start and run a nonprofit youth leadership development organization - we're having our 10 year anniversary banquet next month. I'm also very involved in my church, Comunidad de las Americas (in Spanish), and am on the team that leads the singing each week. |

Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 What I've been up to since high school: Soon after the 10 year reunion Chuck and I had our daughter Melanee. She has been a joy in our lives. She is now 9 and doing great in school both academically and socially. In 2002 Chucks job with Echo Star took us to Baltimore. We were there just under a year before we came straight back to where we belong. After that I started working for Echo Star as well and did training and then became a supervisor. Over a year ago the decision was made for me to leave Echo Star and join T-Mobile. It was the best move I could have made. I am so happy with my job. It turned out better then even I would have thought. I can't wait to see everyone this June. I hope the city of Golden is ready for The Saints To Come Marching In. |

We’ve been married 11 years, and are raising our two kids – Trey 15, and Amy 10. We live in Golden – and started an interior/exterior remodeling company (H&F Services) about 11 years ago and it has grown steadily ever since. Wayne and I along with 2 other individuals started a non-profit organization called ARMS – which will help elderly individuals stay in their homes by providing affordable maintenance and other services. I’m so blessed to have an incredible family. I’ve enjoyed being on the committee – seeing old (and I mean OLD) classmates (ha-ha)! I look forward to seeing more Saints this summer! JHS-87 - were and still are a very special group of individuals – I miss you all! God Bless. |
